Folks the wait is finally over for the Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphones called Redmi Note 5 and 5 Pro. At an event in New Delhi, Xiaomi launched its Note 5 series handsets. The devices come with a large 5.9-inch 18:9 ratio display. Both smartphones will start selling from 22nd Feb via Flipkart, Mi Home, and Mi.com, including offline retail stores.
Jio is also providing cashback of Rupees. 2,200 and 100 percent additional data on these two devices. The company offers some color options like Black, Gold, Lake Blue, and Rose Gold on Redmi 5 and 5 Pro. Both phones have rear fingerprint sensor.
The Redmi Note 5 is priced 9,999 for the 3GB RAM, 32GB storage variant and there is also an upgraded variant of this model which comes with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage priced Rs. 11,999.
While the Redmi Note 5 Pro is priced at Rs. 13,999 for 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant and 16,999 for the top variant which comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.

The Redmi Note 5 comes with a 5.99-inch full-HD display which has the resolution of (1080×2160 pixels). It is boosted by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, along with Adreno 506 GPU for gaming and graphical experience.
It rocks a 12-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/2.2, PDAF, EIS, and an LED flash. The front of the device has a 5-megapixel shooter with LED selfie-light for selfies and video calling
In terms of connectivity, the Redmi Note 5 packs 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and 3.5mm jack. It is fueled by a 4000mAh non-removable battery, which supports 5V/2A fast charging.
In terms of Redmi Note 5 Pro specifications, it sports a similar 5.9-inch FHD display that comes with the resolution of (1080×2160 pixels). The smartphone is boosted by a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor, along with the Adreno 509 GPU, the company has also mentioned that its the first device in the world to have Snapdragon 636 processor.
The latest device from Xiaomi packs a 12+5-megapixel dual rear camera with LED flash, while on the front it rocks a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 shooter with an LED selfie-light flash. All cameras (front+rear) offer Portrait mode Bokeh effects.
In the connectivity department, it has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and 3.5mm jack. It is fueled by a 4000mAh battery which can give up to 14 hours of video playback as per the company, while there is also 5V/2A fast charging support.
