Xiaomi Black Shark Gaming Smartphone is it really worth?

So the much-awaited smartphone from Xiaomi is finally official with all the details. Black Shark is the full-fledged gaming smartphone from the house of Xiaomi. It is currently launched in China and will be available in China through its site from 20th April 2018.

In terms of pricing, it costs CN 2,999 for 6GB+64GB variant that is approx Rs. 31,000, and the second variant comes with a price tag of CN 34,99 which is around Rs. 36,000. It comes in green and black colored design and supports DCI-P3 Wide color gamut. The device has the massive AnTuTu score of 2,79,464. Along with the Black Shark smartphone, Xiaomi has also launched a controller which has a joystick and a trigger button on its surface, for that you have to pay CNY 179 (approx Rs. 2,000) additionally.

So let’s take a look at its specifications, the new gaming device from Xiaomi sports a 5.99-inch 18:9 full-HD+ (1080×2160) pixel resolution display. It is boosted by the Qualcomm’s latest and high-end Snapdragon 845 processor, for the graphical experience, it has 630 GPU.

It comes in 6GB+64GB RAM/storage and 8GB/128GB RAM/storage models. The Black Shark rocks dual cameras of the 20-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor camera, both have f/1.75 aperture and LED flash out of the box. In the front, it has a 20-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling.

The smartphone is fueled by a 4000mAh battery and also packs Quick Charge 3.0 support which feels great. In terms of connectivity you are going to get 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, AGPS, and Glonass. The device on the other side packs some essential sensors like Gyroscope, Geomagnetic, Gravity Sensor, Proximity Sensor, and Ambient Light sensor.

It also includes a liquid cooling system that will help your device to get cool down while playing.

So let’s come to the topic that this device really worth your attention? so the answer is yes it worth. Because it offers the top high-end specs at a very low price, even the Black shark is beating Razer’s gaming phone with huge price margin of the price that is approx 200$ (Rs. 12000).

The Razer phone offers 8GB RAM and Snapdragon 835, but the black shark offers two variants 6GB and 8GB RAM, and it packs Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 processor. However, we have to wait for the global launch because still it is only available in China and there is no official detail about the outside World availability. For sure India is going to wait more because Xiaomi doesn’t launch their flagships most of the time in India.
