Samsung Galaxy Tab S4: Tablet mobility and PC power

Samsung has announced its Galaxy Tab S4 tablet which was launched on the 10th of August 2018. It is said to have ‘tablet mobility and PC power’. Samsung has gone into the range more focused on portable productivity.

The tablet has a built-in storage of 64GB and 256GB and also includes an S Pen which comes in the box. The tablet includes four speakers for optimal sound and Samsung has stated that they have been tuned by audio manufacturer AKG. While people always have problems with battery life and are always looking to get a device with a long-lasting battery, Samsung has vowed that the tab has up to 16 hours of battery life and its battery capacity is also 7,300 mAh.

The Tab S4 has a 10.5 inch Super AMOLED display of 2560×1600 with a 16:10 aspect ratio. This is perfect for anyone who enjoys and does a lot of gaming. This will suit all gamers from those who love Fortnite, all the way to players at online slots brand mFortune playing their favourite games. The tab S4 display will make for one of the most pleasurable mobile gaming experiences. The tab is also really slim which is nice to hold between your hands and has no home button, it has new innovative technology such as a Iris and face scanner which makes the tab even more secure. It also offers LTE connectivity which is perfect for online gaming because it means fast loading and no lagging.

There’s a tablet and then there’s a PC, this incredible device offers both those experiences in one with Samsung’s DeX, the tab gives you the feel of a PC and has a built-in software which allows this. This device is able to open up to 20 windows at a time which is great if you like to multi task or just have to do a few things at a time. DeX can be used with any Bluetooth keyboard and mouse which increases the feel of it being like a PC. DeX aims to make your experience with the tablet as pleasant as possible by allowing you to move apps around and puts your apps in quick access which is more convenient than constantly having to look for the apps you frequently use. DeX is actually a completely separate mode from Android which can either be accessed through the quick settings pull down when you dock the Tab S4 into a Samsung keyboard.

The tab is really fast due to its 4GB of RAM and is powered by a last-gen Snapdragon 835 processor. It also has the latest Android software which is 8.1 Oreo. It also has an incredibly high-quality camera of 13-mega pixels on the front and back. The tab has a USB-C, headphone jack and microSD slot, it also has a pin-connector which powers the keyboard.

This is definitely a new ground-breaking technology which is a must have for anyone who uses a tab and PC. Who wouldn’t like to have the ability to have both in the palms of your hands. Samsung has definitely out done themselves with the Galaxy Tab S4.
