Samsung Galaxy J8 With Infinity Display is Now Available to Buy in India

Samsung is trying hard to get into the budget and mid-range segment, for that they have finally made their Galaxy J8 device up for sale in India. The main highlight of this device is its 18.5:9 Super AMOLED Infinity Display, while the device also has face unlock and has artificial intelligence features in the camera like it will auto-detect object and scenes.

The latest Samsung’s device is priced at Rs. 18,990 in India that you can buy it from various online stores like Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm and on its own official site. There are Black, Blue, and Gold color options for the smartphone available.

So lets quickly jump into to specifications, it runs on latest Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience out of the box. The dual SIM smartphone packs a 6-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED ‘Infinity display’ which comes with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. In the processor department, it has Snapdragon 450 that is powered by 4GB of RAM.

The Galaxy J8 has a dual rear camera setup, it rocks a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. For the front, there is a 16-megapixel sensor that comes with an aperture of f/1.9. These cameras also have a LED flash for capturing the images in dark. The smartphone packs 64GB of inbuilt storage space which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

In terms of connectivity department, it has 3.5mm headphone jack, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB port. It comes inbuilt with ‘Chat over Video’ application that allows to you to text on WhatsApp or you can sent messages through any messaging app while watching the videos.

The overall device’s specifications look but the SD 450 processor is really not justified at 19K. There are lost more devices which offers it under 15k or even 10k, but with this device Samsung really did pretty well if we compare with its previous devices.
