1. Design and Build

The design and build quality of this device looks pretty good, it is an all metal body device which feels solid in hands. It is a pretty well-managed device which is neither thick nor thin. The right side of the device has the volume rockers and power/wakeup buttons, which is so handy to reach and operate.

On the left side of this device, you will get a hybrid-SIM slot, while the bottom has a USB Type-C port and speaker grille. At the top, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack, coming to the back side you will get the dual rear cameras with LED flash which are of 13MP each and a 3500mAh battery under the hood.

It has a 5.5-inch display in the front and a 8MP camera for selfies and video calling. The design is not so unique, but the built quality is a real thing that the device holds well. So, for sure you are going to get a very good experience with its design and build quality.

2. Display

The Billion Capture+ comes with a Full HD display which supports a resolution of (1080 x 1920 pixels) and features 2.5D Dragontrail glass on top of it. The screen supports pixel density of 401ppi. The Full HD screen feels good at this range where most of the big brands still provide HD screen, so for sure it is a plus point of this device.

We have played some FHD videos on this device and the experience was awesome, the viewing angles are also good. Also in terms of gaming too, the screen’s colors were better and overall we had a good experience with its screen in terms of gaming.

The 2.5D glass also give you a better feel here in terms of browsing the things for example, if you are browsing the screen in a flat screen then your finger may get stuck at the corners or you may have a rough experience, but with 2.5D glass, you will get a  super smooth screen browsing experience.

3. UI & OS

It runs on stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS out of the box which is quite interesting because, from our point of view, stock Android can give you a clean and fluid user experience. The device comes with some inbuilt Microsoft apps like Microsoft Office’s Powerpoint, Word, Excel, and OneNote. The phone also comes preloaded some other apps like Skype, SonyLIV, PhonePe, Myntra and company’s own app Flipkart. The overall interface looks very modern and fluid. You can also expect to get Android 8.0 Oreo OS update in the future.

3. Performance and Battery

The Flipkart’s Billion Capture+ is boosted by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor which is clocked at 2.0GHz Cortex-A53. For the gaming and graphical experience, it has an Adreno 506 GPU.

It is not a high-level chipset that they are using but yes it’s common in most of the best smartphones under 15000 in India, because the SD 625 processor is also known for the best optimization as it uses 14nm technology. We had a good gaming experience with the device as we used it for the last 5 days. We’ve played some best graphics intensive games like Asphalt 8, Gangster Vegas and some others, so the experience of its gaming was pretty smooth and we haven’t noticed any lag or frame drops in this device.

It has a large 3500mAh battery which is non-removable and also it comes with fast charging technology. It took us around 2 hours to fully charge the device from 0-100%. The battery can easily last up-to one day on moderate to high usage.

4. Camera

The camera is the point where every smartphone lover wants more, but they also have some restriction in their budget and they want a perfect shooter in their limited budget. If we take this device, it comes with dual rear cameras of 13-Megapixel each while in the front it has a 8MP selfie shooter.

The interface of its camera is very simple and you will not at all get confused after opening the camera app. It comes with some modes like Auto, Supernight, Portrait, Pro, Panorama. So we have clicked few images with this device which you can also check below and they have good clarity and vividness, the colors are very accurate; while we have also attached some portrait images of this smartphone, basically portrait mode blur the background of the object which you are capturing.

6. Final Thoughts

In the end, we would say that it is a full-fledged budget device which is not overpriced unlike all other smartphones in the market. We feel that the company is providing a device which is worth the money in every aspect. It is a great value for money smartphone.

We are getting Snapdragon 625 processor, 32GB storage, 4GB RAM and it looks really interesting at a price of Rs. 12,999.  So from our side, The Flipkart Billion Capture+ smartphone gets a thumbs up and you should surely purchase this phone if you want a great budget mobile under Rs. 15,000.
