Samsung is one of the best smartphone manufacturers in the world, known for its quality and premium products. However, back in 2016 Samsung made the biggest mistake in their history. Yes, we are talking about the exploding battery issue of the Galaxy Note7. This issue had harmed their brand value across the globe as they had to recall the entire Note7 inventory. Recently, Samsung has successfully launched the Galaxy S8 and S8+, which have been a massive success so far. After the Note7 fiasco, Samsung is determined to launch its successor, the Note8 in the second half of 2017.
In the recent past, we’ve witnessed several leaks and rumors about the upcoming phablet. Even some of the renders of the Galaxy Note8 have appeared on the Internet. The web is filled with renders and leaked images of the Midnight Black variant of the Note8, but now we’ve managed to get hold of an Arctic Silver color variant. Samsung’s upcoming phablet looks gorgeous in this new color, and the build quality seems to be pristine. The Note8 comes with a dual rear camera setup as we already know from the previous leaks and the new leak also confirms it. There will be a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens along with a 13-megapixel telephoto lens. This will be Samsung’s first smartphone with a dual lens camera setup. Let’s have a look at some of the rumored specifications of the Galaxy Note8.
It will sport a QHD+ (2960 x 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity display. The display size will be 6.4-inches and will have a 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The Galaxy Note8 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 processor (or later), depending on the region. There will be an 8-megapixel selfie camera just like the S8 and S8+. In the connectivity department, we can expect 5G VoLTE connectivity along with the usual WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C and more. The battery department might have a 4000mAh battery under its hood.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is expected to be launched by October 2017. Stay tuned for more information on this upcoming Samsung phablet.
